We conduct standard and country-specific evaluations and calculations for the preparation of dossiers in compliance with EU legislation. We also perform risk calculations (acute and chronic) with EFSA and country-specific models. Furthermore, we prepare zonal and national dossiers and MRL calculations. We provide study monitoring, expert statements and authority replies, study evaluation, completeness checks and import tolerance petitions.
Consumer Safety
Dietary assessments for consumer safety are based on residues in food and on relevant toxicological endpoints. The consumer safety team at RIFCON is experienced in study monitoring and the preparation of dietary risk assessments.
We prepare each type of dossier (e.g. MRL, import tolerance, JMPR, dRR and active substance) and carry out the related risk assessments. Furthermore, we evaluate and monitor all studies required to complete a sound data package (e.g. nature and magnitude of residues, animal feeding, rotational crop, metabolism and industrial processing studies).
